Weng Kin Chen is a distinguished professional with a robust background in engineering and innovation. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nottingham Trent University, UK. With a career spanning three decades, Weng Kin has made significant contributions to the field of product design and development.
At the EAC Innovation Consortium, Weng Kin oversees the sourcing, engineering, and manufacturing of products and parts. He collaborates with global teams to ensure that product designs, specifications, quality, and delivery consistently meet the highest standards.
One of his notable achievements includes developing IO Fitness, the first intelligent integrated 30-minute fitness system in China, with over 20 patents internationally. His innovation earned him the 1st place at Alibaba Create Malaysia and the 2nd Runner-Up at Alibaba Create Global 2019, competing against over 6,000 international entrants.
Currently, Weng Kin also serves as the President of Jenkins Asia, a leading Product Design and Development Consulting Company in China. Jenkins Asia has teams based in China, the Philippines, and the US, managing over 400 factories across China and Southeast Asia. His expertise lies in creating innovative solutions and securing patents for various inventions, including fitness training devices, motion tracking systems, and integrated cloud fitness management software.

Shaban Z. Mtengeti (Australia – Tanzania)
Shaban Mtengeti is a seasoned entrepreneur and business professional with a diverse background spanning the private sector, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and international trade. Mtengeti began his professional journey working in the NGO sector, where he gained valuable experience in organizational management and financial oversight. His ventures expanded into international trade, dealing in the export of agriculture produce to China and to East African countries, and sea food to Asian markets. He relocated to Australia in July 2023, and he currently works with Drakes Supermarkets-It’s Fresh which is an independent retail chain based in Australia.

George’s professional journey spans over 10 years, marked by exceptional contributions in two distinct fields. He began his career at CRDB Bank, where he served as a Bank Officer for seven years. During this time, he rotated through various departments, gaining hands-on experience in banking operations, customer service, and financial management. His adaptability and commitment to excellence earned him a reputation as a reliable and results-driven team player.
Building on his banking expertise, George ventured into the manufacturing sector, establishing himself as a successful aluminum businessman. Over the past eight years, he has become one of Tanzania’s most prolific agents for Emirates Aluminum Tanzania, a leading supplier of high-quality aluminum products. His entrepreneurial acumen, combined with his deep understanding of international business principles, has enabled him to thrive in this competitive industry.
